Designed for stopping tubing when making them up at repair works of oil wells. Stop wrenches are manufactured of alloy cold-resistant steel.
The structure is a hinged ladder-type mechanism, fitted with a stop which allows to grip a pipe and fix the wrench on it. Torque is conveyed with the help of a leveler. On the wrench there are grooved dies, by means of which a reliable grip between wrench and the pipe is provided.
