The best wishes from Sevmash Director General, Andrey Dyachkov were passed on by the Deputy Director General for Human Resources, Vasily Ugryumov. “Thank you for your effort, for your careful keeping the history of the shipyard, - he said. – It is always warm and comfortable in the museum, visitors like it here, and their comments in the Visitor’s Book are the best evidence of my words”. Vasily Ugryumov presented the Certificates of Merit and Letters of Gratitude to the museum attendants.

The Sevmash Museum of Labour Honour and Military Valour had for the first time opened wide the doors on October 22, 1971.

Today the exposition and a vast collection of the museum reflect the shipyard’s history and the background of national fleet. Nowadays it amounts to more than five thousand exhibits. The museum exposition is arranged in five halls and it is constantly renewed. Within the walls of the museum the history is carefully kept as well as the present is decided – the shipyard’s top management holds the meetings here with foreign delegations, traditionally they organize celebrations in honour of the labour dynasties, meeting with young workers and specialists, welcome reception of the Second World War veterans.

Every year the museum is visited by more than five thousand people. In 2006 the Sevmash museum became a laureate at the first city festival “Museum Workshop”, where it took the first place in the nomination “The Best Corporate Museum”.
