Today sea trials of the nuclear-powered submarine of new generation «Severodvinsk»  are begun.

It is the first ship, which was built by the project no. 885 «Yasen». It is tested by crew at the head of Valery Dobrovolsky. Commander of the ship is Captain of the first rang Sergey Mityaev.

NPS «Severodvinsk» was designed in the Marine Bureau of machine-building «Malakhit» (Saint-Petersburg). In June 15, 2010 leading out of the ship from the slipway workshop took part in presence of President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev.
