Today the off-shore ice-resistant fixed platform (OIFP)  «Prirazlomnaya» was arranged at the Pechora sea.

In evening of August 18 the OIFP was dispatched from the ship-repair enterprise no.35, which is situated at Murmansk. The platform overcame with help of four powerful tugs near 540 miles for 8 days. In spite of traditional weather for this season, and strength of wind was not more than five meters in second at the Barents sea. It allowed to swim with speed of three knots in average. «Movement was finished without remarks and incident events, – Deputy of Director General of JSC «PO «Sevmash» Valery Borodin said. – Staff of 96 people tested systems of providing of  life and trained. In three days the platform will be arranged at the point, and pouring out of banquette around it will be started. This operation will be continued one and half month».
